On Friday evening, the Financial Architects team gathered at Cantoro’s in Livonia for a celebration that was equal parts holiday party and heartfelt tribute, honoring the retirement of Jan Winters after 18 incredible years with FAI.

Jan has served as our Client Relations Coordinator since 2007, and during that time, she became far more than a point of contact. For clients and teammates alike, Jan has been a steady presence—warm, thoughtful, and unwavering in her commitment to taking care of people. Her impact on FAI is woven into the fabric of who we are.

The evening was filled with meaningful moments, including heartfelt speeches and toasts from the FAI team and Jan’s family, highlighted by touching words from her husband, Steve. Laughter, gratitude, and more than a few tears were shared as stories reflected the many ways Jan has shaped relationships and culture at FAI.

Guests also enjoyed a photo collage capturing Jan through the years, along with a special video featuring messages from former teammates and clients, each one a reminder of the lasting impression she has made over nearly two decades.

As we celebrated the holiday season together, we also celebrated a career defined by service, kindness, and connection. Jan’s legacy will continue to be felt at FAI for years to come, and while she will be deeply missed, we are grateful for the foundation she helped build.
